Nick Stileman | Managing Partner
Nick has 17 years of experience in international finance. He has arranged financing and advised on strategic transactions primarily across Africa and Asia.
Before founding Betula, Nick was a Managing Director at Standard Chartered Bank responsible for acquisition and leveraged finance across Africa, additionally he was the Africa head of Financial Sponsor coverage and held various governance roles. Prior to his role in Johannesburg he was based in Asia focused on infrastructure financing and advisory.
Lisa Rümelin | Managing Partner
Lisa has 22 years of international finance experience focused on Asia, Africa and the Middle East. She has a strong track record of advising, structuring and arranging solutions for her clients.
Before founding Betula Partners Lisa spent 20 years within the Standard Chartered Bank Corporate Finance division and held a number of leadership roles as a Managing Director including Regional Head of Leveraged Finance for Africa & the Middle East. Her most recent role was as a Senior Originator for Gemcorp Capital LLP.
